This area has seen a huge resurgence in the last ten years and is very diverse and ecclectic.  It is bordered by the American River to the north, Highway 50 to the south, Business 80 to the east and the Sacramento River to the west.  The area runs the gamut in architectural style from highwater bugalows built in the 1800's, to small bungalows,  to multifamily properties to palatial homes in Poverty Ridge.
